Our traditional saunas
Old stories and a deep love for the Finnish sauna form the heart of our certified sauna experiences.
We are dedicated to preserving and maintaining our unique historic buildings. The old 1960s cowshed has been given new life as Pohjola’s Sauna Lodge. The building houses three saunas with space for about 20–25 people in total, two shower and dressing rooms, a cozy fireplace lounge, and an upstairs cabinet.
In the steam sauna, you can enjoy gentle, birch-scented steam, while the traditional Finnish sauna focuses on pure relaxation without unnecessary frills. Outside on the terrace, you’ll find a genuine log sauna with a wood-heated stove, perfect for traditional “vasta” whisking. Between sauna sessions, you can cool off outdoors or unwind in the wood-heated hot tub while admiring the surrounding nature. In winter, the bravest can complete the experience with an invigorating snow bath!
