The old Pohjola cow shed has been given a new lease of life and converted into the “Äijän” – Saunas.

There are three different saunas you can choose from, all ready to give you warmth and help you relax after a long day.

A traditional Finnish wood heated timber sauna is situated on the terrace outside the old cow shed. It can seat 10 people. Also a wood burning hot tub is ready for you to have a refreshing dip, under the stars beautiful clear sky. If you are lucky, northern lights may also dance in the night sky.

Inside the old cow shed, there are two more saunas, one for 4 people and a bigger sauna for 6 people. Two separate shower rooms are also available. You may also simply want to sit and relax by the fireplace enjoy local delicacies such as the Vuotunki “Äijän” plate.

Small meetings can be arranged in the Sauna Tower, with a view over lake Vuotunkijärvi. All necessary meeting equipments are provided such as Internet-connections, projector, white screens, TV/video.

We can also arrange traditional Finnish barn dances in the Sauna building.
